HEALTHY COPING SKILLS / STRESS MANAGEMENT

Created at the request of many youth & young adults

We added this workshop to our list at the request of many students seeking support in managing their stress and anxiety without drugs or alcohol. They have been looking for tools to cope with their challenges and make choices that are healthy for their mental and physical well-being.  The presentation includes educational information, conversation, exercises and awareness of resources available to them.  When time allows they can make a touchstone or other special item to remind and encourage them on their journey.

YOUTH ADVOCACY

A stand alone workshop or an advocacy project springboard

In this workshop we discuss what advocacy is and explore a variety of opportunities and tools available to youth.  Participants explore their own interests in topics and mediums and see examples of projects by other young people.  If they are going to be doing projects, we can help with developing their plan and getting a good start.
